Demonata: Book 3 Bec
In book 3 you learn about the previous life of Bec before she took over Bill-E's body. Bec was born to a mother without a home, she had much magical power and was brought into a tribe without very much debate. Many people argued that she was not born of the clan but the priestess took her in because she was just a baby and could have magical abilities. After some time, she learned how to use magic and some simple spells. She wasn't very accepted with the other kids in the tribe but she managed to not feel alone. She tried her best to not look sad and would try to make friends with the villagers. The warrior Goll was the fiercest person in the tribe but he was also very childish inside. He was one of the most friendly people and helped her get along with other children.
Death's Shadow Ending
Bec has finally found that which resurrected the dead love of Dervish. Jill came back to life to serve lord loss since that is what she swore to do when she was known as Nadia Moore. During this book so much is discovered. The kah Gash, the knowledge Lord Loss' possesses, who the shadow is, and what Beranabus is. During their encounter with zombies and Lord Loss' assisstant, the Shadow shows itself and during the brief contact it has with Bec, she figures out what it is. The shadow is actually Death but given form and a mind. It is neither demon or human it is the entity that has a hold on all living creatures. It can't be killed or stopped. Believing that Beranabubs could hold it back to stop death, he allows his demonic side to show and take over transforming him into a demon of great strength but dies stopping Death from showing staying and killing the Disciples. Beranabus has died, Sharmila has died, and Kernel or Grubbs could also be dead. Although, that is not known at the end of this book.
Death's Shadow part 2
Bec has begun to live life as a regular girl with the memories of Bill-E in her head. Dervish uses Bec only to tap into the memories. Eventhough, Bec really wants to live like an ordinary person, she is having a hard time getting accustomed to the outside world. Meera helps her find books to teach herself more. When Bec took over Bill-E's body she somehow activated all of his brain which allows her to suck up knowledge like a human sponge. Although with this new body she also has the unwelcomed ability to suck up the memories of people when she comes in contact with others physically. This ability causes her trouble and she wishes she knew why this was happening. But the bigger problem was how she was going to get Dervish to accept her as a human being instead of just a gateway into Bill-E's mind.
Death's Shadow
So far the book is pretty interesting although i had to skip the 5th and 6th books of the series I was able to piece together what happened so far in the story from the first few chapters. The books alternate in time and change between multiple main characters. In this book the main character is named Bec. Bec was a priestess who was placed in confinement because of how much she angered the demons. Her body died but her soul remained in the chamber. After thousands of years her soul finally found a way out by taking over a dead body of Bill-E and she did it without knowing. It wasn't her intention to take over the body but to help Grubbs and Dervish fight back Lord Loss.
The Demonata: Chapter 5 By Darren Shan
Bill-E
Grubbs wanders around the new town, his new home. He meets a young boy by the name of Bill-E. He and grubbs become new best friends and along the way Bill-E tells Grubbs that he believes Dervish is a werewolf. The chapter is mainly about getting to know the character Bill-E and his relation to Dervish. Bill-E believes Derish is his father but it is not true.

The Grand Tour
With Dervish's advice, Grubs was able to get out of the asylum and move in with his uncle Dervish. Grubs is taken to Dervish's hometown known as Carcery Vale. Demons and monsters are not talked about for the most part since Dervish wishes to save that for later and first help Grubs relax in this new environment. It was weird to find out that Dervish being an old and mishapen man was the richest man in the family. He had purchased a house in poor condition many years ago and chose to fix it up himself. Eventhough he had so much money he would much rather do work on his things. Within his house he has a study with many texts about magic. Grubs has not much of a hard time believing magic is real after his encounter with the demons. After he gets to know more about the house and all the weird things in town, Grubs wants to know more about Dervish. Dervish is a magical man, who takes great pride in his abilities. Eventhough he is skinny and tall, he is very strong and wise with a thirst for chess as strong as Grubs' parents.

The officers try helping him calm down and relax Grubbs so he can give them what they want. They try to get him to talk by sending Grubbs with other relatives, thinking that with Grubbs near family he will get a grip on "reality" the reality the officers see not the reality Grubbs fears. After sometime with the relatives Grubbs is sent back because he scared his little cousins with the description of the Demons. Once he returns to the asylum, the doctors think of trying to send him to another relative. During their search for new relatives a mysterious man visits grubbs in his asylum room. Dervish was his name and he advised Grubbs to lie to the doctors and give them fake information of a person so he may leave the asylum or stay inside that same dark room forever.

The Demonata: Chapter 1- Rat Guts
Chapter one was kind of interesting. It starts out with the reader meeting one of the main characters Grubbs Grady. He is apparently a smoker that goes to school. He was snitched on by his sister Gritelda, which caused him to get in trouble with not only the school principal but also with his parents. The first chapter is mainly an introduction to the family members. At the end of the chaper, the reader and Grubbs discover what was making the parents so uneasy. Trouble has come home.
